In the past decade, CAARS has successfully convened over 13 international conferences and have collaborated with several African Universities in organising several workshops as well.

CAARS envisions an African-global leadership and is determined to pushing for it by making outstanding marks in different fronts of development of the region.
Strategies
First building a Pan-African network of academics, professionals and policy makers who are motivated to ardently pursuing African economic and political integration with promises of extra- ordinary Pan-African development and Africa’s global- leadership in the near future.

Day to day Administration
This rest on the CAARS Board headed by Director General who presides over the various committees headed by Directors or Chairmen.
While some committees are permenent, others are adhoc bases on the nature of roles assigned to them.
For example, the Committee for Awards and Honours and Recognitions is permanent while Conference organising committees are conference usually conference specific
CAARS Fellowship/Membership entitles one to the: -an academic fellowship, and the tag- fcaars.
It also qualifies one to appointable and electable positions in Body, like Country Director, other directorates, Chair of of research forums

Annual Dues
So far CAARS Members don’t pay annual dues.
The 10th Anniversary dues is a special due paid for the first time in 10 years of this body. It is open to members and even non-members who have been following us are required to pay dues.
What however has been traditional in CAARS is payment of conference fees for participants in our annual on ferences and publications to pay fees but at a rebate.
Goals of the Institute
Undertake studies aimed at improving socio-cultural and diplomatic relations of African and American countries.
Through undertaking regular evaluative studies and interaction between academics, professionals and diplomatic staff of both regions and beyond
To organize conferences in different African and American countries so as to draw a host of intellectual resources abundant in each continent for the benefit of countries in both

Mode of Operation of the Centre:
The Center shall have offices in at least one country in each of the sub- regions of Africa; as well as representative offices in Europe, America, Asiaand Australia.
Administration;
The overall management of the Centre shall be in the hands of the Board of Trustees.
Members of the trusteeship shall be stakeholders of the centre.
The day to day administration to the centre shall be in the hands of an administrative management headed by the Director General.
The Director General shall be the chief executive officer of the centre and shall be responsible the appointment of the sub-regional directors. The sub-regional offices shall be headed by directors who shall be accountable to the Director General for the operations.
Source of funding:
The Centre shall generate its initial funds through the contributions of the stakeholders and subsequently through the conference fees and sales of journal and books of the institute among others. It shall also
generate income through receipts of project-aid from interested international donor agencies as well as receipts from the Centre’s consultancy services.
