Welcome Speech of the DG-CAARS & CHANCELLOR, the Society for Elimination of Child Labour, Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery in Africa

As part of the Inaugural online meeting of the Council /Board members of the Society today 22 December, 2023.
Dearly beloved Council/Board members
It’s with deep thanks and appreciation I welcome you to this meeting.
To me it’s a pleasure to be part of the great movement towards the realization and bequeathing of the  Africa of our Dream.
I’m confident the caliber of men and women who are in the Council/Board are sufficiently endowed and motivated to drive the mandates of the Society.
Let me quickly restate here that the learned Society for Elimination of Child Labour, Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery SoECLaHTMS is one of CAARS initiatives for driving  social equity and development in Africa and across the Globe.

CAARS African Academia/Universities Mobilisation Committee for Golden Business Forum/APSS Summit Series 3

In response to  the formal request on CAARS for mobilisation of the Academia for the Golden Business Forum/APSS Summit Series 3 coming up in Kigali from 23-25 March, 2023,
The Director General, CAARS hereby constitutes CAARS Africa’s Academia/Universities Mobilisation Committee for the  Golden Business Forum/APSS Summit Series 3 as follows:
1. Prof Nnamdi Nwaodu -(DG-CAARS) – Chairman
2. Prof Ferdinand Gideon (Deputy Vice Chancellor, University of Namibia)  – 1st Vice Chairman
3. Prof Angelina Mattijo-Bazugba  – University of Juba, South Sudan
